Editorial Policy
Editorial independence
Pacific Press Asia is independently owned and editorially independent. Advertising revenue, partnerships and commercial relationships never determine our editorial conclusions or the placement of independent coverage.
Sourcing
Curated stories originate from a managed registry of reputable international and Asia-Pacific publishers, accessed through official RSS, publisher APIs, licensed feeds, public metadata and permitted excerpts. We never republish complete copyrighted articles.
Attribution
Every derived article carries a Sources section with canonical links to the original reporting. Publication names, authors and publishing dates are stored with each imported item and are never removed.
Fact checking
Facts are extracted, de-duplicated and reviewed before publication. Where several publishers cover the same event, verified facts are combined into a single original Pacific Press Asia article rather than duplicated.
Corrections
Material errors are corrected promptly and transparently. Corrected articles show an updated timestamp, and significant corrections are noted within the article.
Sponsored content
All paid editorial is visibly labelled as Sponsored, Paid Partnership, or Presented by the named brand. Sponsors never review or approve independent editorial coverage.
Advertising
We prefer premium contextual advertising over invasive cross-site tracking. Advertising inventory is placed so that it never overwhelms the reading experience.
Affiliate relationships
Where affiliate links are used in future commerce features, they will be disclosed clearly and will not influence editorial recommendations.
Imagery and rights
We publish only licensed, owned, royalty-free, approved promotional, properly permitted preview, commissioned or AI-generated editorial artwork. Image source, copyright owner, usage rights and credit line are recorded in the CMS.
Privacy
Reader analytics are aggregated. Advertiser reporting never exposes personal reader data.
Conflicts of interest
Contributors disclose relationships that could reasonably be seen as a conflict, and are reassigned where independence cannot be maintained.
Corrections and right-of-reply requests are handled by the standards desk at corrections@pacificpressasia.com.
